Abbotswood House Bed & Breakfast

Welcome to Abbotswood House Bed and Breakfast, a little bit of English soul in the heart of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
Whether you are coming to the Pacific Northwest for the skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, the fall arts festivals, or any of the many events in Coeur d'Alene the Abbotswood House is your dream home away from home. We are the only bed and breakfast with an indoor pool in this part of the world (maybe the whole world).
Rosamund and Douglas Barteau welcome you to this wonderful home complete with an indoor pool, and outdoor hot tub, and rooms themed from the Poldark novels written by Rosamund's father, Winston Graham. Seven of the twelve Poldark novels, were televised by the BBC in the 1970s. Poldark has also been shown on Masterpiece Theatre in the USA. Winston Graham also wrote the book "Marnie," that was made into a film by Alfred Hitchcock.
So save the international air fair and stay at a true English B&B right here.
