Abbotswood House is a family-oriented bed and breakfast and children are welcome. Guests in any of the five guest rooms also enjoy our game room, deck, indoor swimming pool and outdoor hot tub. Breakfast is served in our cozy dining room. Homemade cookies are always available for the hungry guest! And, to beat the summer heat, we are centrally air-conditioned.

     Rooms at Abbotswood House are themed from the Poldark novels written by Rosamund's father Winston Graham. Seven of the twelve Poldark novels were televised by the BBC, and Poldark has also aired on Masterpiece Theatre. Winston Graham also wrote the book Marnie that was made into a film by Alfred Hitchcock. What a perfect get-a-way for outdoor and reading enthusiasts alike!
